Mac OS X has the Best Fonts
I was looking for a good script font that is commonly available; meaning it comes with the major operating systems. Windows and Linux doesn’t come with a good script font. But Mac OS X does! I just love the Zapfino font. If you’re using Mac OS X (or you have the Zapfino font installed) you can see the title of this blog on top in Zapfino font.
Here’s a tip if you have Mac OS X and you want to use the font in Linux, you can copy the Zapfino dfont file to your “fonts://” special location in GNOME. Copy ‘Lucida Grande’ and ‘Monaco’ while you’re at it. These are not freeware fonts, so if you don’t have Mac OS X you can still buy the font from various online font vendors.
(OK, I’m biased :D)

Yes, Macintosh good in typeface, even in old version I like New York, Chicago and Monaco fonts :)
They pay attention to details, the Mac people. I can see the font, but there’s no background image, unlike the screenshot.
Sisil, what browser do you use? It’s standard CSS, so it should show up on recent standards-compliant browsers supporting CSS.
Was using Mozzila for Mac. The image shows on safari and IE… I forgot. I’ll try opening it up again at work.
This is odd – now the font don’t show on Safari! (It’s changed to boring verdana bold) The background image shows on Firefox. On IE the tail of both ‘y’s are covered with the right blue column.
not an odd thing. css-nya font-family: Zapfino, Verdana, sans-serif;
jadi kalau browser gak punya Zapfino ya bakal dirender dengan Verdana
