Fresh Look for Planet Terasi
Since I need to put a new logo for Planet Terasi, I also need to make some adjustments to the look of the website. Hopefully you like the new look. You’re welcome to give feedback by posting your comments to this post.
The logo was created and submitted by Kéré Kêmplu even though the contest had officially ended without any winner. Thanks! He made some remarks in his email (quoted below) regarding the design choices which I think are quite reasonable.
why brown? i think it’s an indonesian color. :) lagian kan miip warna terasi. :D
tipografi dengan huruf ala semprot untuk mewakili dunia blog yang spontan, agak menjauhi kemapanan [ciehhhh], seperti orang bikin pamflet dan plakat.
warna kuning? yeah, pura-puranya matahari tropis gitulah. kalo dikasih biru cyan gak cocok sih.

warna coklat biasanya utk sesuatu yg klasik, antik, historis, so menghilangkan kesan modern.
usul: warna hijau muda + apa aja yg match. kesan ceria, modern, elektrik, komputer…
cuman saran nih…
OK, fontnya nanti saya besarin dikit, sekalian mau mbenerin CSS-nya, kayaknya masih kurang sip.
Soal warnanya saya rasa warna kuningnya membantu mengangkat kesan kuno menjadi agak cerah dan segar.
Kapan2 kepingin kumpul2 nih buat penulis dan pembaca planet terasi. :D
