
The new trailer has been out for a few days now. It’s looking good so far. Tom Hanks looks a bit like Bono, though. And I can’t wait to see Audrey’s performance, I’m a fan of hers since Amélie.
The movie (imdb) is not yet finished. It should be playing in theatres in May 2006. Deep inside I wanted the movie to be at least as good as the book, but I really shouldn’t set my expectations up too high. In fact, it’s probably best to see any movie without any expectations whatsoever. I’m just really looking forward to seeing this one.

I love it when people develop clever power generators. Especially when it can be used to create a self sustaining environment where originally the environment “wastes” power.
This one is from the UK. Power is generated from a ramp that moves up and down as vehicles pass. The electricity generated can be used to power traffic lights and road signs. There are some videos on the website.

Beberapa hari belakangan ini lagi rame soal orang carmuk dan orang iseng yang jadi korbannya.
Saya tadinya gak ingin ikut-ikut di masalah ini, soalnya saya gak mau encourage yang carmuk dengan memberikan publikasi gratis. Tapi yah cuek dah, biar kebobrokan terungkap dan istilah “pakar multimedia” atau “pakar telematika” itu dikubur aja dalem-dalem. Mau muntah tiap kali denger itu.
Sudah berapa hari panas dibicarakan masalah ini di mana-mana, sampe akhirnya Enda bilang mau nanya ke SBY sendiri.
Dan sekarang jelas sudah kenyataan yang sebenarnya.
Tenang aja, saya gak mau nulis lagi panjang lebar soal itu. Saya mau ngomongin soal sisi lainnya dari itu.
