Hey 👋, I’m Ronny.

I’m a software engineer and a technology leader with over 20 years of experience in building and delivering technology products at global organisations of varying sizes.

I have been a sysadmin, a consultant, a software developer, a data engineer, a site reliability engineer, a platform engineer, an engineering manager, and a staff/principal engineer. I have worked with teams that built products in industries like web hosting, email marketing, insurance, road traffic monitoring, construction, real estate, creative marketplace, online learning, video streaming, and strategic workforce planning.

The depth and breadth of my experience allows me to communicate effectively at technical and business levels with stakeholders to pitch ideas, negotiate, and get alignment.

I thrive on tackling challenging business/technology problems at scale. I specialise in designing, building and running resilient, scalable, secure, sustainable services.

I’m based in Melbourne, 🇦🇺 Australia. When I’m not working or spending time with my family, I enjoy cooking, coffee, music, and learning languages. I’m currently learning Japanese 🇯🇵 (よろしくお願いします 🙇), Spanish 🇪🇸, and French 🇫🇷.
